An Important Message from
Anderson School District Two's Kid President

On November 4, voters across Anderson County will be voting on a Local Option Sales Tax. This 1 cent sales tax will allow the responsibility of updating Anderson Two schools to be shared among property owners, renters and tourists. Non-residents are expected to generate about thirty percent (30 %) of the total revenue generated from the proposed tax. Estimates show an increase in available spending of $20 million+ over a 15 year period. Projects would be completed more rapidly, thus providing access to 21st century facilities and technologies.

The kickoffs included reader's theater performances by students and each student and staff member received their own copy of the book with a bookmark and a reading calendar.
