BES Mission Statement
In partnership with the school, the home, and the community, Belton Elementary School will foster an innovative environment which promotes effective teaching and learning and encourages students to Believe in themselves, Excel in performance, and to Succeed in life. 

Congratulations to Neil Maes, 5th grade winner and the champion of the BES School Spelling Bee! He will represent BES at the Independent-Mail Regional Spelling Bee on March 5, 2016. Ashlyn Morrow(front row, left) was the 4th grade winner and runner-up speller and Ty Parnell and Gracie Smith tied for the 3rd grade win.



Welcome Back!
We have had a great start to the school year! The very first day of school, our new students were sorted into their houses. The house members of Bravura, Decoro, Estima, Entusiasmo, Fidelis, and Probite welcomed their new members with house cheers!


You can help BES by clipping Box Tops from hundreds of participating products and sending them to school.  Each coupon is worth 10 cents when our school redeems them from Box Tops for Education. The money that we raise helps to fund many of the special reading programs we have throughout the year.

I look forward to working with students, teachers, and families to make the most of every learning opportunity and to help our students have a great school year.
