Open to students who will be 3rd, 4th, or 5th graders next year! Click here to register!
Research shows that students who read during the summer will be better students next year! That’s because reading is a skill and it requires practice! Students who don’t read over the summer can lose many of the skills they worked hard to learn during the previous year. The brain is a muscle and being a member of the B.E.S. Summer Reader Club is a fantastic way for kids to exercise it, keep their reading skills sharp over the summer, and discover some fantastic books!

Boosterthon is a program for character, fitness, and fundraising!  Each day, our students will participate in a character and fitness lesson.  During this time, they will also be anticipating the  BES FUN RUN! Students will ask for pledges from friends, family, and community members.  These individuals will pledge amounts based on the number of laps the student runs during the FUN RUN!  This year's fundraiser will go towards more Technology in our school!  Check the BES Facebook Page, for daily updates!

Congratulations to Neil Maes, winner of the Anderson-Independent Mail Regional Spelling Bee! He will go to Washington, DC to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May. Way to spell, Neil!

Welcome Back!
We have had a great start to the school year! The very first day of school, our new students were sorted into their houses. The house members of Bravura, Decoro, Estima, Entusiasmo, Fidelis, and Probite welcomed their new members with house cheers!

You can help BES by clipping Box Tops from hundreds of participating products and sending them to school.  Each coupon is worth 10 cents when our school redeems them from Box Tops for Education. The money that we raise helps to fund many of the special reading programs we have throughout the year.
