Mrs. Wanda Medlin

Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Wanda Medlin

  Mrs. W. Medlin

My name is Wanda Lindsay Medlin and I teach 4th Grade Science and Math here at Belton Elementary School.  I graduated from Belton-Honea Path High School with Honors in 1982 and I graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in Elementary Education in 1991. Later on, I received my Master’s Degree in Education from Southern Wesleyan University in Central, S.C. This is my 27th year of teaching--WOW-- 20 of those 27 have been right here at Belton Elementary School.
I have been married to my husband, Johnny, for 32 years and we have one sweet daughter, Leah, who is currently at Anderson University. After completion of this year, she will transfer to a four year college and will enter the Elementary Education program- yes, she wants to be a teacher! We have a black labrador retriever named Midnight and he is like our second child.
I enjoy singing, cooking, and reading and I love binge-watching shows on Netflix-- just finished the second season of "Stranger Things"-- loved it.  I love Mexican food and taking beach trips to the coast.
I hope that your child has a wonderful year here at Belton Elementary School.  If you need to contact me here at school (338-7738), I am available Monday-Friday from 10:15-10:45 and 2:30-3:00.  You can also email me at
