Mrs. Hedrick's Weekly News for Parents

May 28, 2018

I hope that you all will have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day as we honor the men and women that have sacrificed all for our freedom.

This week is a very busy week at BES. This year’s House Champs, Decoro, will be celebrating their victory with a trip to the zoo on Tuesday. If your child is in Decoro, please be sure his/her permission slip has been signed and returned.

Also on Tuesday, we will be holding our 4th Quarter celebration for students that have met school expectations for behavior. For this celebration, students will have some time playing on bounce houses. Please be sure your child wears or brings socks on Tuesday for this event.

Awards Day is on Wednesday. Please see the schedule below:

  • 3rd Grade - 8:15
  • 4th Grade - 10:00
  • 5th Grade - 11:30

If you wish to sign your child out after the ceremony, please bring your licence in with you. There will be tables set up with faculty to help you with this process. If you wish for someone else to sign your child out after Awards Day, please send in a signed note and make sure that person knows to bring in his/her licence.

We are excited to invite our families to our final parent event of the year which we will hold on Friday, June 1. Please see the flyer below for details:

Hope you will be able to make it!
