Nurse's Note

ASD2 is closely monitoring the Coronavirus. We are receiving updates from the CDC and DHEC, and in accordance with their recommendations we are developing a plan to prevent the spread of the virus and prepare in case of an outbreak. There are currently no known cases of Coronavirus in SC, so our focus is currently on prevention.

What is BES doing?

2) Encouraging coughs/sneezes to be covered (signs are being posted)
3) Disposable wipes are being provided to wipe down frequently touched items such as chromebooks, computer keyboards, mouses, desktops)
4) Following DHEC/CDC recommendations concerning school exclusion

What can you do?
1) Wash your hands (use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available)
2) Cover coughs and sneezes
3) Stay home from school or work if you have fever, or if you have a cough with fever
4) Appropriately discard of used tissues
5) Keep sick children at home except to seek medical care
