At BES, we want students to have time to read independently for fun! 📚 Parents, encourage your child to read at home as well. It could be a book, magazine, newspaper, etc. Basically, anything that they are interested in! Based on research, here are a few positive impacts of independent reading… - Enhanced Critical Thinking - Vocabulary Growth - Improved Reading Fluency and Comprehension - Expanded Background Knowledge

A big shout out to the Anderson University football team and cheerleaders for welcoming our students back to school with high fives this morning! 🎉 There were lots of smiles on faces...Our kids loved it!

A BIG thank you to Belton Pentecostal Holiness Church for providing our staff with breakfast this morning! We are always so thankful for our community support!

Do you like to plan ahead? Here's our "BES-Year at a Glance" . We want our parents to be informed about what's going on at our school, and to be involved when you are able! You will get a paper copy of this calendar in your Meet the Teacher packet on July 31.

In an effort to help our families, BES was able to allocate budget money to provide most of the school supplies for our students this year. Here are the only school supplies all students will need for the 25-26 school year!

Today we are celebrating students with good behavior for the 4th nine weeks. Students had to have 80% or higher on Class Dojo, and no suspensions to participate. They are having a blast! 🎉

A BIG thank you to Shady Grove Baptist for providing our faculty with a taco bar from El Titanic, and a table full of homemade desserts! It was delicious! We love patterning with our community!!
