BOOSTERTHON FUN RUN
October 12
At this time, we are planning to have the FUN RUN outside on our field. Parents are invited to attend. We know that there is a chance of rain during the night, but we are hoping that it will clear out several hours before the rain.
Students need to wear old tennis shoes and clothes to run in. I would suggest bringing an extra pair of shoes/socks, especially for our third graders since their time is in the early morning.
***WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT SIGN OUT YOUR CHILD EARLY! Teachers will still be teaching, and giving quizzes/tests throughout the day.
3rd Grade - 8:30-10:00am
5th Grade - 10:15-11:45am
4th Grade - 12:30-2:00pm
***If the field is too wet, we will move the FUN RUN inside the gym. Our gym is very small. If this is the case, parents will not be allowed to attend. We will make a decision on this early in the morning. If you do not hear from us, plan on it being outside.
BES Family: Reminder that students should log into google meets at 8:30 today. Students that do not login will be marked absent. If the student doesn’t have access to internet to login, they will have 5 days to complete and turn in the work. When they do so, the absence will be changed. Hope your child has a great day! We will be in the office if you need assistance.
Don’t forget to get pledges for the weekend challenge! $2 per lap or $60 flat donation for a special prize tomorrow!!

We are so excited for our First Day of School! Just a few reminders:
Car Rider Door will open at 7:15 AM. Remember all students are dropped off at the front awning and sidewalk. Please be sure to enter the car line from Myrtle Ave on the school side of the road. This is for everyone's safety.
The Tardy Bell will ring at 7:40 and Instruction will begin at 7:45. We will work hard to move our car lines quickly but please be patient with each other and us as we all get used to new routines.
Buses will dismiss at 2:30 tomorrow with walkers dismissing shortly after that. Car riders will begin at close to 2:35 as we can. Again, please be patient with each other and us as we get things up and rolling. Everything will speed up as everyone gets into routine.
If you have not completed registration, please do so ASAP. If you need assistance we will be happy to help between 9:00 and 10:30 tomorrow. If that time does not work, please call Ms. Brittany or Ms. Kim to set up a time for them to assist you.
If you have not completed the Free and Reduced Lunch form, your child will begin being charged for meals in the morning. Please plan accordingly. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Mrs. Krystal.

We are excited to have you join us for Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 11. Feel free to drop in any time between 2:00-6:00pm for you to meet your child’s teacher.
Please register before coming to Meet the Teacher. If you need assistance registering, we will have staff that will be able to help you.

BES Families: A few quick reminders of some important upcoming dates:
Once you have completed InfoSnap to register, you will receive an email to inform you of your student's class assignment for this year. If you are having trouble registering, the school will be open and have people available to help you complete the online process on August 2, August 3 and August 5 from 9:00-3:00. Please drop by and we will be happy to help.
Bus Transportation - The online form must be submitted by August 4 in order to have bus transportation for the first day of school. If you have already completed the bus form, you do not need to do it again. August 4 - We will hold our Back to School Give Away at First Baptist Church in Belton from 9:00-11:00 in the morning and 5:00-6:30 in the evening. We will have people to help you with online registration at this event as well.
August 11 - We will be holding our Open House/Meet the Teacher from 2:00-6:00. You can drop by anytime during those times to meet your teacher(s), tour the school, finish online registration, pay fees and other registration activities. We look forward to seeing everyone.

Hope everyone is having a great summer. The online application for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program opened July 5. Please click the link below to go ahead and complete that part of registration. Directions for completing the form have been emailed and posted to Dojo. Please be reminded that students will be charged for lunch this school year and the application will be required to receive this valuable assistance. Even if your child received Free Lunch last year, you will need to complete this form for that to continue this school year.
The information for completing the rest of registration will be sent in a few weeks.
